Helium for an event
A blimp fills with about 170 cubic feet, roughly $255 at typical local rates. A sphere takes about 87 cf, around $130.
Because loss is only about one percent a day, one fill covers a normal three-day event with nothing to do in between. That is the main practical advantage over anything that needs a blower running.
Buy from a local welding-gas supplier, about $300 for a 200 cubic foot tank.
One-off events in Phoenix and Tucson
If your event is in greater Phoenix or Tucson we can run it for you: we bring the balloon, the helium, the installation, the weather watching and the removal.
Balloon service is $247.25 a day and blimp service $297.25 a day, Tucson $30 a day more. Billed weekly, no contract, no minimum, and no charge if weather grounds it.
For a single weekend event that is often the sensible answer, because nobody on your committee has to learn anything.
Do you make custom character shapes?
Cold-air custom shapes yes, up to about 25 feet. Walked parade character balloons no.
Can we have our event name on it?
Yes, on the blimp. Both sides, included in the price.
How long before the event should we order?
Three to seven days production after artwork approval, plus two to five days shipping. Allow three weeks to be safe.
Can it go indoors?
Yes, with 15 feet of clear ceiling. Check the venue’s helium rules.
Is it reusable?
Yes. Deflates, folds and stores flat in its box.
